What if the Avengers were Egyptian? Better yet, what if they were Egyptian football players?

Thinking about it, let’s see which players would star in KingFut’s Egyptian Avengers series.

Mohamed Salah - Captain مصر

If anyone could lead this generation of football players, it has to be Egypt’s finest at the moment and that’s Mohamed Salah.

DID YOU KNOW: Mohamed Salah is the first ever Egyptian and Arab player to win the English Premier League

Ahmed Hegazy - Thor

Ahmed Hegazy was supposed to be the next best defender since Wael Gomaa. The Nesta of the Pyramids’ time in Florence has been a tough one, suffering two consecutive Anterior Cruciate Ligament tears since 2012, but has come back stronger and starts for Egypt regularly since his return.

Ahmed Fathy - Iron Man

There just seems to be no beating this man. An ever-present figure in the Egyptian national team, loved by all Egyptian fans and the only player to maintain superb consistency over the years.

FACT: Ahmed Fathy is currently the only survivor from Egypt’s 2006 African Cup of Nations winning squad after featuring on the bench against Tanzania two weeks ago.

The Incredible Hulk – Essam El-Hadary

An image fitting for possibly the best goalkeeper to have ever graced Egyptian and African football. If you want to know how good he was, ask Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o.

Drogba: “Essam El-Hadary is the best goalkeeper I’ve ever faced.”

This coming from a player who played against some of the finest goalkeepers in history.
